You can trace 400 years of mining history and learn about the impact the industry had on the local community. We even have footage of miners at work, recorded just weeks before the mines closed, and the original control panel from the Lough Allen Power Station is on display.
Our exhibition is not just about mining – it’s about resilience, community, and the impact of industrial progress on Irish society.
