Our knowledgeable guides, all former miners, share fascinating personal stories and insights from their time underground – bringing local history vividly to life.

Booking Info

On arrival, your group can explore the exhibition area and enjoy a short introductory film about the history of the mines.

Whether you’re organising a day out for a historical society, a corporate group, an active retirement group, or a group of friends, we welcome groups of all sizes. All visits must be pre-booked by phone or email.

Discounted rates apply for groups of 20 or more. There is ample coach and car parking available on site.

AV Room Hire

Arigna Mining Experience can cater for all your meeting and conference requirements. Our dedicated room can cater for up to 50 attendees. All inhouse AV equipment is included in room hire cost. Our ample car-parking facilities which includes coach parking ensures that your meeting or conference will get off to a smooth start.
